Hi! I’m Michalis, tea artisan, nature enthusiast, and co-founder of Holy Tea Amsterdam — a journey we began together with my wife, Dolly. It all started one day when she casually said, “Why don’t we create our own tea brand?” That simple question sparked a shared dream, blending our love for tea, nature, and tradition into something truly special.
Born and raised in Greece, now living in vibrant Amsterdam, I grew up surrounded by the healing wisdom of herbs and tea. Our grandmother played a huge role in this early inspiration — she believed in the power of tea and herbs to heal, soothe, and connect us with nature and each other. Watching her prepare traditional blends with care and reverence planted the seed that would one day grow into Holy Tea.

Holy Tea began as a small family project, born from love, curiosity, and a desire to honor the natural healing traditions we cherished. Every blend we create tells a story — weaving together ancient Greek botanicals, mountain herbs, and Mediterranean ingredients with global inspirations from Eastern spices to African rooibos.
