Christmas Gifts for Employees and Clients: A Tea Ritual That Lasts

Every December the same question lands on someone's desk: what do we give the team, and what do we send our clients? Another bottle, another box of chocolates, another branded notebook? At Holy Tea we think the nicest gifts are the ones that are still there in February. A tea ritual is exactly that: a small, warm pause that comes back every month.

We are a small family tea shop in Amsterdam with Greek roots. Our blends are imagined by Greeks in Amsterdam and made in Greece, inspired by the herbs, spices and slow afternoons we grew up with. Here is how to turn them into a Christmas gift for the people you work with.

Why tea makes a thoughtful business gift

For your team: give the office a monthly tea ritual

With Office Tea, your office receives a new selection of our own Greek and Mediterranean-inspired blends every month, delivered by courier anywhere in the Netherlands. Every blend comes with brewing instructions on the pack, plus a short video for each tea type, so nobody needs to be a tea expert.

There is no minimum term, and you can pause or skip a delivery whenever the office is quiet, for example during the summer holidays.

If you then choose a plan, the full €21.99 is credited on your first plan delivery. It is a simple way to let the team taste first, perhaps at the Christmas drinks.

For individual employees and clients: a prepaid Tea Club

For a gift to one person, a client, a long-serving colleague or the whole team at home, a prepaid Tea Club plan is the most personal option. Each month the recipient gets three of our 50 g loose-leaf blends from the club you choose, plus a 15 g surprise tea, about 55 cups, through the letterbox.

Choose 3, 6 or 12 months and pay once, saving 5%, 10% or 15% compared with paying monthly.
Pick one of six clubs: Discovery, Black, Green, Rooibos, Herbal or Fruit. When in doubt, Discovery is a rotating mix across tea types.
Use the recipient's address at checkout. Delivery is free in the Netherlands; shipping to Belgium and Germany is €4.

A Greek touch for the festive season

In Greece, Christmas smells of cinnamon, clove, orange peel and honey, the flavours of melomakarona cooling on the kitchen table. You will find the same warmth in blends from our range such as Winter Glow, Christmas Cheer and Mastiha Chai, with mastiha from the island of Chios.

When to order

Orders placed Monday to Friday ship the next working day; weekend orders ship on Monday. Letterbox post usually takes 1–2 working days in the Netherlands and 2–4 in Belgium and Germany. For Christmas, we suggest ordering by mid-December to be safe.
