Some gifts are opened, admired and forgotten by January. A tea subscription works the other way around: the first box is only the beginning. Every month a new delivery drops through the letterbox, and with it a small moment to slow down. Whether it is for Sinterklaas, Christmas or a birthday, here is how to gift a Holy Tea Club for 3, 6 or 12 months.
What the recipient gets every month
- Three of our own loose-leaf blends of 50 g each, chosen from the club you pick
- A 15 g surprise tea, about 55 cups in total
- Brewing instructions on every pack, plus a short video for each tea type
- New blends every month, so the box never repeats itself
Our blends are imagined by Greeks in Amsterdam and made in Greece, inspired by the herbs and rituals of a Greek family kitchen.
Step 1: Choose the right Tea Club
There are six clubs, all at the same price. Think about how the person you are gifting likes their cup:
- Discovery – a bit of everything, a rotating mix across tea types. The safest choice when you are not sure.
- Black – bold and warming, for mornings and slow afternoons.
- Green – fresh and light, bright and grassy.
- Rooibos – smooth and naturally caffeine-free, any time of day.
- Herbal – fragrant and caffeine-free, inspired by Greek herbs.
- Fruit – juicy and colourful, hot or iced.
The recipient can switch club later if their taste changes.
Step 2: Choose 3, 6 or 12 months
With a prepaid plan you pay once and save compared with paying monthly (€24.90/month). The recipient still receives one box every month. Prices for delivery in the Netherlands:
- 3 months – €70.95 instead of €74.70 (save 5%). A lovely Sinterklaas or Christmas gift that carries through winter.
- 6 months – €134.46 instead of €149.40 (save 10%). Tea until summer.
- 12 months – €253.92 instead of €298.80 (save 15%). A gift for the whole year, with a new box every month.
Belgium and Germany have their own prices; you will see them on the Tea Club page when you choose your country.
Step 3: Send it to their address
At checkout, simply use the recipient's name and address as the delivery address. Delivery is free in the Netherlands; shipping to Belgium and Germany is €4 per box. Each box fits through the letterbox, so nobody needs to be home.
Want to make it extra special? On the plan page you can add a Juliet tea mug or the Filter and Lid as a one-time add-on at 15% off, so they can start brewing straight away.
When to order for Sinterklaas and Christmas
Orders placed Monday to Friday ship the next working day; weekend orders ship on Monday. Letterbox post usually takes 1–2 working days in the Netherlands and 2–4 working days in Belgium and Germany.
- Sinterklaas (5 December): to be safe, order by 1 December for the Netherlands and a few days earlier for Belgium.
- Christmas: to be safe, order by mid-December, a little earlier for Belgium and Germany.
Why a tea subscription is a good gift
- It is thoughtful without being complicated: you choose the club, we choose the blends.
- It lasts for months instead of one evening.
- It suits tea lovers and the tea-curious alike.
- It brings a little Greek warmth into grey Dutch winter days.
Gifting for a team or clients?
For an office, a monthly tea delivery for the whole team often works better than individual gifts. Read our guide to Christmas gifts for employees and clients, or start with the Office Tea Trial Box (€21.99, credited on your first plan delivery).
